Jacobs' ex-girlfriend moves to seal evidence in domestic case

The ex-girlfriend of Green Bay Packers running back Josh Jacobs has filed a motion to permanently seal evidence in his domestic violence case, including a surveillance video of the altercation. The filing, made in Brown County, Wisconsin, court on Tuesday, seeks to prevent the public release of police reports, recordings, photographs, and other materials that could identify or locate the woman, identified in court documents as ANM. The motion comes days after Jacobs pleaded no contest on September 10 to misdemeanor battery and criminal damage to property stemming from a May 23 incident. The battery conviction resulted in a $1,000 fine. The property damage charge is set to be dismissed in 12 months if Jacobs meets conditions including counseling, supervision, restitution, and no contact with the victim. According to the criminal complaint, surveillance video from Jacobs' garage shows him taking the woman's phone while she was on the floor and later returning to damage it. The woman reported that Jacobs threw her to the ground during the dispute.
