Israel Opens First National Pavilion at Morocco Air Show

Published 9 October 2026

Israel’s Defence Ministry opened the country’s first national pavilion at the Marrakech Air Show, bringing eight Israeli defence companies to the exhibition in Morocco. The ministry described the appearance as Israel’s first official participation in a defence exhibition in Morocco since the 2020 Abraham Accords. The air show ran from October 7 to October 10, 2026. The eight companies displayed technologies including loitering munitions, artificial-intelligence-powered robotic systems and autonomous navigation for unmanned aerial vehicles, according to the ministry. Elbit Systems, Israel Aerospace Industries and Rafael Advanced Defense Systems also exhibited, presenting products across air, land, sea, space, intelligence, cyber and digital fields. The ministry said participation was part of a strategy to expand defence exports and international cooperation. It also reported that meetings were held with foreign delegations and government officials during the exhibition. The reports do not establish what agreements, if any, resulted from those meetings. The pavilion comes amid efforts by Israel and Morocco to deepen relations established in 2020.
