iPhone 18 Pro Leak Suggests New Colors, Drops White Option

Published 2 September 2026

Apple is expected to unveil its new iPhone 18 Pro lineup at a special event on September 9, and a series of leaks suggests the flagship phones will debut with a completely new color palette, notably dropping the white or silver option that has been a staple of the Pro models for years. According to reports from multiple sources, the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max will be available in three colors: sky blue, black or dark gray, and a new burgundy or dark cherry shade. The information stems from a series of posts on the Chinese social media platform Weibo by a leaker known as Fixed Focus Digital, who stated that the devices have entered mass production. The leaker asserted that a silver or white variant has not been spotted and is unlikely to be part of the launch lineup. This would mark a significant departure for Apple, which has offered a white-adjacent color with every generation of its Pro iPhone since the iPhone 11 Pro in 2019. If accurate, the move would replace the entire color roster of the iPhone 17 Pro, which was available in cosmic orange, deep blue, and silver.
