The Indian team of Elavenil, Sonam Maskar, and Vidarsa Vinod secured silver in the team event, while Elavenil added an individual silver later in the day. In the team competition, the trio combined for a total of 1898.0 points to finish second. China took gold with a world record score of 1904.2 points, surpassing its own previous record of 1902.0 set at the 2025 Asian Championships. Hosts Japan claimed bronze with 1897.1 points, just 0.9 points behind India. Sonam led India's effort with 634.1 points in qualification, Elavenil contributed 633.5, and Vidarsa added 630.4. Elavenil then competed in the individual final, where she won silver with 252.4 points. Japan's Hinata Taichi won gold with an Asian Games record score of 253.0, while South Korea's Ban Hyojin, the reigning Olympic champion, took bronze with 230.4.
