Holdout Juror Speaks Out After Clancy Trial Mistrial

Michael Desronvil, the lone holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy murder trial, has spoken out for the first time, alleging he was targeted for being a Black Republican with conservative views. In an interview, Desronvil claimed that eight jurors acted as activists from the start of deliberations, pushing to acquit Clancy despite evidence that she killed her three children. Desronvil stated that he believed Clancy was guilty and not insane at the time of the killings, based on the evidence presented in court. He described the jury as split 11-1, with eight jurors favoring acquittal from day one, two initially voting guilty, and two undecided. He said the eight jurors tried to convince the others daily, and eventually, only he and one other juror held out for guilty, with the second juror changing her vote at the last moment.
