Frank Turner plans live break after 2027 Wembley shows

Frank Turner says the four shows planned for the 10th and final Lost Evenings festival in November 2027 will be his last live performances for the foreseeable future, and that he does not know when he will perform again. The singer-songwriter described the decision as an indefinite break from playing live, not a permanent retirement announcement. Lost Evenings X is scheduled to take place at OVO Arena Wembley in London from November 4 to 7, 2027. Turner and his backing band, the Sleeping Souls, are due to headline each of the four nights. The full lineup has not yet been announced, according to one report. The performances and festival remain scheduled events; the reports do not independently confirm that they have taken place. Turner said he had spent 28 years on the road, released 10 albums and played more than 3,000 shows. He said he wants to recharge, spend more time with friends and family, try new things and pursue other projects. He also said the economics of touring have become harder, the music industry’s growing influence from social media does not interest him, and he wants to pay more attention to his physical and mental health.
