Fox News Parts Ways With Maria Bartiromo

Fox News Media announced on Thursday, September 3, 2026, that it has parted ways with veteran anchor Maria Bartiromo, ending her more than 12-year tenure at the company. The departure was effective immediately, with her final episode of "Mornings with Maria" airing that morning on Fox Business Network. In a brief statement, Fox News Media said, "We thank Maria for her work over the last 12½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter." The company did not provide a reason for the split. Bartiromo did not immediately comment on her exit. The network is restructuring its programming lineup in the wake of her departure. "Mornings with Maria" will be renamed "Mornings with Fox Business" starting Friday, September 4, and will be hosted by rotating anchors. Her weekly Friday evening program, "Maria Bartiromo's Wall Street," will become "FBN's Wall Street," with Cheryl Casone hosting this week before a rotation of anchors takes over. On Fox News Channel, Jason Chaffetz will host "Sunday Morning Futures" this weekend, with a permanent replacement to be announced later. Fox Business also indicated it will launch a new weekday programming schedule in the coming weeks.
