Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift Coaster Opens Sept. 16 at Universal Studios Hollywood

Universal Studios Hollywood has announced that its highly anticipated Fast & Furious Hollywood Drift roller coaster will officially open on September 16, 2026. The date marks the culmination of a summer of technical rehearsals and addresses earlier delays and community concerns, delivering on the park's promise of a major new attraction for the 2026 season. The high-speed coaster, based on the Fast & Furious film franchise, will reach speeds of up to 72 mph, making it the fastest coaster in Universal's global portfolio. It features 4,100 feet of track with four launches, an inverted dive loop, a twisted pretzel loop, and an inverted stall, all while riders experience forces up to 3.6 Gs.
