Published 3 October 2026

England beat Croatia 7-0 in Rijeka on October 3 in a Nations League League A, Group Three match, with Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka scoring twice each. Jude Bellingham, Anthony Gordon and substitute Morgan Rogers also scored as England recorded their biggest win under manager Thomas Tuchel, according to match reports. Kane opened the scoring in the eighth minute, finishing after a pass from Bellingham. Bellingham doubled England’s lead in the 21st minute, poking in a cross from Gordon. Gordon made it 3-0 before halftime with a header from Jarell Quansah’s cross, then Bellingham set up Saka for England’s fourth shortly before the break. Kane scored again in the 53rd minute, converting a cross from Elliot Anderson. Saka added his second in the 68th minute after receiving a pass from Kane. Rogers, who came on as a substitute, completed the scoring in the 87th minute, finishing a move created by Bellingham. The result gave England two wins from their first three matches in the group and six points. One match account said England were level on points with Spain, which had a game in hand; another described England as having briefly moved top before Spain’s later fixture.
