Dormant Quant wallets transfer tokens toward exchanges

Two Quant wallets that had been inactive for more than three years transferred QNT tokens toward cryptocurrency exchanges as the token rallied, according to on-chain tracking cited in reports. The movements totaled 42,450 QNT, including 8,250 sent to Binance and 34,200 moved by a second wallet, of which 9,000 went toward Coinbase and Kraken. The transfers do not establish that the holders sold the tokens. At reported prices, the tokens sent to Binance were worth about $1.88 million, while the 34,200 QNT represented about $8.05 million. The 9,000 QNT sent toward Coinbase and Kraken were valued at roughly $2.12 million. These figures describe different parts of the transfers and should not be treated as proof that the full amount moved by the second wallet reached exchanges. Lookonchain was identified as the source of tracking for the two wallets. While multiple reports described the same transfers, they relied on that shared tracking rather than separate confirmation. The available accounts do not say whether the exchange-bound tokens were subsequently sold or establish the holders’ intentions. The activity followed a sharp rise in QNT.
