Dolly Parton Estate Announces 2027 DOLLYFEST in Nashville and London

The estate of Dolly Parton has announced plans for a global celebration of the late country music icon's life and career, revealing a two-day festival called DOLLYFEST to be held in Nashville and London in 2027. The event, described as "The Celebration of a Lifetime," will take place across two consecutive weekends, with one date in Nashville, Tennessee, and a second in London, England. Specific dates, venues, and lineup details have not yet been released. The festival was originally conceived by Parton herself as a multi-artist event to celebrate her 80th birthday in January 2026, with plans for her to perform and host. According to her longtime manager, Danny Nozell, a venue had been booked and an announcement was prepared before Parton's health forced her to step back from the plans in August 2025. "What Dolly started, we will ensure is brought to life," Nozell said in a statement. He added that the festival was something Parton truly wanted to happen. Parton died on August 25, 2026, at the age of 80 following a battle with cancer. Her family held a private funeral at Nashville's Woodlawn Memorial Park and Mausoleum on August 30.
