Dogecoin Labs launches to expand DOGE payments and apps

Published 21 October 2026

Dogecoin Labs launched October 21 as a company bringing the MyDoge wallet, DogeOS application platform and Such App payment tools under one organization, with the goal of expanding how people use Dogecoin for applications and commerce. The company was formed in partnership with the Dogecoin Foundation and will be led by Jordan Jefferson, who founded MyDoge and DogeOS. The Foundation and its commercial arm, House of Doge, are contributing intellectual property and development teams. The Foundation will continue supporting open-source development, advocacy and community programs, while Dogecoin Labs focuses on commercial products. The three products are intended to work together: developers build applications on DogeOS, MyDoge users access them through the wallet, and merchants use Such App to accept DOGE. That integration is not yet complete. Such App supports merchant invoices and in-person QR payments, but its connection to DogeOS remains in the planning stage. MyDoge reports more than 500,000 users, and its V3 update connects the wallet with applications being built on DogeOS. The reported total does not establish how many users are active or have tried those applications....
