A Department of Homeland Security inspector general report released on Thursday concluded the U.S. Secret Service missed multiple opportunities to detect and disrupt the July 13, 2024, assassination attempt on then-presidential candidate Donald Trump at a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
