Demna Presents His Gucci Vision for Spring 2027

Demna presented Gucci’s Spring 2027 collection in Milan on September 25, staging the show inside a purpose-built, store-like setting as he brought together the fashion house’s bourgeois and eccentric identities. The designer described the collection in show notes as his complete personal vision for Gucci after a year spent studying the brand’s history and character. The presentation was divided into menswear and womenswear, with each receiving a separate portion of the show. The setting featured rooms arranged like a luxury boutique, with clothing, handbags, accessories and shoes displayed on racks, shelves and in cases. Although one account described it as a possible blueprint for a future Gucci retail unit, the reports did not establish that the store will be built. The clothes drew on equestrian and preppy styles, tailored suiting, oversized proportions and sensual eveningwear. Women’s looks included riding-inspired jackets, fitted breeches and boots, alongside trench coats and tartan skirts. Men’s outfits ranged from narrow suits and open shirts to preppy layers and larger silhouettes.
