CST records rise in university antisemitism reports

The Community Security Trust recorded 95 antisemitic incidents connected to UK universities in the 2025-26 academic year, up 14% from 83 the year before, according to its latest report. The charity’s count was below the 272 incidents it recorded in 2023-24, but above the 53 reported in 2022-23, before the October 7, 2023, Hamas attack on Israel and the subsequent war in Gaza. The figures cover incidents affecting university students, staff, academics or campus organisations in an academic or student capacity, including cases occurring online. They are reports recorded by the CST, not a confirmed count of every incident at UK universities.
