Coalition Warns Sanaa Civilians Ahead of Planned Operation

Published 13 October 2026

The Saudi-led coalition urged civilians to leave the Yemen Oil Company’s central Sabah station in Sanaa ahead of a planned operation, while Houthi military spokesperson Yahya Saree warned that Saudi oil facilities could be targeted in retaliation. The reports do not establish whether the coalition carried out the operation or whether any threatened attacks occurred. The coalition’s Joint Forces Command identified the station on an accompanying map and said the evacuation request was intended to protect civilians. The warning named the central station, also referred to as Al-Sabah, in Yemen’s capital. The coalition did not provide a reported timetable or further details about the planned operation. Saree urged employees and civilians to leave facilities affiliated with Saudi Aramco and stay away from locations the group considered legitimate targets. He also extended the warning to workers, aviation companies and travelers at locations covered by the group’s notices. His statements communicated a threat and evacuation demand; they do not confirm that an attack took place.
