Clark, Mitchell each score 34 as Fever beat Sun, clinch playoff spot
Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell each scored 34 points as the Indiana Fever defeated the Connecticut Sun 111-91 on Friday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. The victory secured a playoff spot for the Fever and kept them in contention for a top-tier seed in the postseason bracket. Clark, who also distributed 12 assists, and Mitchell both shot 12-for-19 from the field. Clark connected on 6 of 12 three-point attempts, while Mitchell went 4 of 9 from long range. The performance marked the fourth time this season the duo scored 30 or more points in the same game, extending their WNBA single-season record for a pair.
