Cardano ADA Rises on Network Activity Surge

Published 5 September 2026

Cardano's native cryptocurrency, ADA, is trading around $0.21, showing recent gains as network activity increases and analysts eye potential price surges. The digital asset saw a slight increase of approximately 0.7% on September 5, following a notable surge in decentralized exchange (DEX) volumes on the Cardano network, which have reportedly tripled. Data from DeFiLlama indicates that DEX volumes on Cardano have risen from $2.01 million to $7.28 million. This uptick in activity is further supported by an increase in total value locked (TVL) within Cardano's decentralized finance ecosystem, which grew from 268.47 million ADA to 299.81 million ADA in less than two weeks leading up to September 5. Analysts are closely watching key technical levels, with many suggesting that ADA is in an uptrend. The cryptocurrency has been trading within a rising parallel channel since June, and is currently attempting to break through resistance around $0.22. Some analysts predict that a sustained move above $0.24 could signal a larger recovery, potentially opening paths toward targets of $0.29, $0.37, and $0.4368. One analyst has suggested a more ambitious long-term target of $2.
