Bruce Campbell says he has five years to live

Cult film icon Bruce Campbell has revealed he has approximately five years to live following a cancer diagnosis earlier this year. The 68-year-old actor shared the prognosis during an appearance on The Adam Carolla Show this week, stating he was diagnosed in March with a treatable but incurable form of cancer. Campbell, best known for his role in the "Evil Dead" franchise, has chosen to focus on living with his illness rather than succumbing to it. "I've decided, pretty specifically, to live with it, not die from it," Campbell told host Adam Carolla. He has declined to disclose the specific type of cancer he has, explaining that he prefers to avoid the overwhelming details and potential complications associated with researching the disease. "The cancer rabbit hole is enormous," he said. "I wouldn't touch it with a 10-foot pole." Despite the serious health update, Campbell emphasized his intention to continue living his life and fulfilling his professional commitments. He is currently promoting his latest film, "Ernie Emma," a dramedy he wrote, directed, and starred in, which centers on a widower scattering his late wife's ashes.
