BRICS Summit Gathers in New Delhi Amid Global Shifts

Leaders from the expanded BRICS bloc are set to convene in New Delhi for the 18th BRICS Summit on September 12 and 13, 2026. Hosted by India, which holds the chairmanship for the fourth time, the summit marks the group's 20th anniversary and will focus on strengthening cooperation among its eleven member nations amidst a complex geopolitical landscape. The summit's theme, "Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability," reflects a broader vision of "Humanity First," aiming to move beyond political declarations towards practical, development-oriented outcomes.
