Bournemouth reportedly plan to keep Kroupi in January

Published 29 October 2026

Bournemouth are reported to have decided against allowing Eli Junior Kroupi to leave in the January transfer window, despite reported interest from Arsenal, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur. The club regard the 20-year-old forward as important to their plans for the rest of the season, according to reporting attributed to sources close to Bournemouth. Arsenal and Manchester United have enquired about Kroupi’s fitness and current situation, while Tottenham remain interested, the reports say. No formal bid is reported, and Bournemouth have not publicly confirmed their position. The reported transfer stance and approaches rely on the same reporting origin, rather than independent club statements. Kroupi returned to Bournemouth’s squad in a 3-0 win over Manchester United, making a brief substitute appearance after surgery on a fractured metatarsal in July. His return has brought renewed attention to his future ahead of the winter window, but Bournemouth are said to want to retain him as they seek to improve their Premier League fortunes. The forward scored 13 goals in 33 Premier League appearances during his first English season. Bournemouth see his attacking contribution...
