A Sydney man hailed as a hero for his actions during a mass shooting at Bondi Beach last year pleaded not guilty to assault charges in a local court on Wednesday. Ahmed al Ahmed, 44, appeared at Bankstown Local Court to deny allegations of common assault and stalking or intimidation against his father.
