Beats Sets October 15 Launch for Pokémon Pill Speaker

Published 13 October 2026

Beats will launch a limited-edition Pokémon-themed Beats Pill speaker on October 15, featuring Pikachu and Mimikyu alongside custom charms and specially designed packaging. The product is priced at $149.99, the same as the standard Beats Pill, according to one report. The collaboration with The Pokémon Company International gives the portable Bluetooth speaker a character-inspired exterior. Pikachu’s signature yellow appears on the front, while the back uses a grayscale design inspired by Mimikyu. Beats says the edition is the first Pill speaker to include charms, with a Poké Ball, Beats logo and Pikachu-inspired lightning bolts among them. Beats Chief Marketing Officer Chris Thorne said the company wanted to create something for Pokémon fans and described the partnership as a way to express their interest in the franchise through sound. The packaging is also specially designed for the collaboration. The speaker retains features of the regular Beats Pill, according to Beats. These include up to 24 hours of battery life and an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. Users can wirelessly pair two Pill speakers in Amplify Mode or Stereo Mode.
