BCB President Says India-Bangladesh Series Talks Ongoing

Bangladesh Cricket Board President Tamim Iqbal has stated that both the BCB and the Board of Control for Cricket in India are sincerely working to reschedule a long-pending bilateral whiteball series, though no date has been finalized. The series, originally planned for August 2025, was postponed amid deteriorating diplomatic relations between the two nations. Tamim Iqbal, a former Bangladesh captain, made the comments in a recent interview, confirming that discussions between the two cricket boards are ongoing. "Both boards are very sincere that this thing happens. Both BCCI and BCB are looking at windows as well, which time what can be done," he said.
