While Texas, particularly the Dallas area, was the hardest-hit state, reports of connectivity problems also came from Louisiana and other parts of the country. Some users noted that the disruption also affected their ability to access services like Google, Gmail, and YouTube. The cause of the outage remained undisclosed by AT&T.
