Arbitrum DAO Reports $6.19M H1 Income as Robinhood Chain Boosts Revenue

Published 4 September 2026

The Arbitrum ecosystem is generating significant new revenue from external networks, with Robinhood Chain emerging as a major contributor following its mainnet launch. According to an unaudited report from the Arbitrum Foundation, the Arbitrum DAO accrued $6.19 million in income during the first half of 2026, with gross margins on protocol revenue exceeding 97 percent. The financial profile broadened considerably in July when Robinhood Chain, built on Arbitrum's technology, launched and immediately became a key revenue stream. Robinhood Chain generated $360,000 in licensing fees for the Arbitrum ecosystem in July, its first full month on mainnet. This figure represented approximately 35 percent of the DAO's total income for that month. Under Arbitrum's Expansion Program, external chains that use its technology and settle outside Arbitrum One and Nova are required to return 10 percent of net protocol revenue to the ecosystem. The program is designed to monetize the technology stack beyond Arbitrum's own networks. The early performance of Robinhood Chain has been notable. On September 1, users paid a record $3.
