Adobe Integrates 70 Creative Tools Into Slack Platform
Adobe has launched a new integration that embeds more than 70 of its creative and productivity tools directly into the Slack workplace messaging platform. The feature, announced on September 2, 2026, allows users to access applications such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, Premiere, and the generative AI tool Firefly without leaving their Slack workspace. The integration is available immediately for customers on Slack Business and Enterprise plans. The core of the integration is a conversational interface powered by Slackbot. After installing the Adobe app, users can message Slackbot with a description of a task, and the chatbot will determine the most relevant Adobe tool to complete the request. For example, a user could ask Slackbot to turn a spreadsheet into a visual graphic, create social media content from a template, or perform bulk edits on a large set of images. Slackbot can draw on context from Slack channels, shared files, and Canvases, as well as search a user's Creative Cloud asset library by subject, style, or mood to inform its work.
