31 Killed in Pakistan Police Complex Attack

At least 31 people, including 16 police officers, were killed and more than 100 wounded in a coordinated suicide bombing and gun attack on a police complex in Kohat, Pakistan, on Friday, September 19, 2026. The assault on the Old Police Lines compound, which houses the district police headquarters and other security units, began when an explosives-laden vehicle was driven into the complex as officers and their families were attending Friday prayers. The attack was followed by a prolonged gun battle between the assailants and Pakistani security forces.
