A 14-year-old boy has died after getting into difficulty in the River Thames in Oxford, marking the eleventh fatal water-related incident in the United Kingdom during a recent period of exceptionally hot weather. Emergency services were called to the river near Donnington Bridge at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
