Yoto Launches Fourth Generation Kids Audio Players

Yoto has announced the fourth generation of its screen-free audio players for children, with the new Yoto Player and Yoto Mini available for preorder starting September 10, 2026. The launch, described by the company as its biggest hardware update to date, arrives three years after the previous iteration and ahead of the holiday shopping season. The headline feature across both devices is a new physical Green Button, which gives children cardless access to personalized playlists of up to 20 titles. Once an adult has configured the button through the free Yoto app, children can twist and press it to play favorite stories, songs, podcasts, soundscapes or other downloaded audio stored locally on the device, without needing a physical card or a WiFi connection. Parents can set up separate playlists for morning routines and bedtime wind-downs, and the button also provides access to digital-only app content such as toothbrushing timers and sleep soundscapes. Under the hood, both players receive substantial upgrades, including a faster processor, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 6.1 and doubled internal storage of 64GB, enough for more than 1,000 hours of offline listening.
