Yeah Yeah Yeahs Release Live Album and Concert Film

Published 3 September 2026

The Yeah Yeah Yeahs have released a new live album and a companion concert film, documenting their 2025 Hidden in Pieces Tour. The album, titled "Hidden in Pieces Live at the Royal Albert Hall," was made available digitally on September 1, 2026, with physical copies and an expanded digital deluxe edition scheduled for October 23. The accompanying 22-minute film, also titled "Hidden in Pieces," is now streaming on the Criterion Channel, with theatrical screenings set to begin on September 21. The live album primarily captures the band's first-ever performance at London's Royal Albert Hall, which was the third show of their 2025 tour. The recording also includes tracks from other stops on the intimate theatre run, including performances in San Diego, Chicago, New York, and sessions at Sonic Ranch. The tour marked the band's 25th anniversary and featured stripped-down arrangements of their catalog, incorporating acoustic guitars, strings, and piano. In a statement, lead vocalist Karen O explained the motivation behind the tour and the album.
