Yankees Place Trent Grisham On 10-Day Injured List

New York Yankees center fielder Trent Grisham was placed on the 10-day injured list Saturday with a right hamstring strain, an injury sustained during the team's game Friday night against the San Diego Padres. Outfielder Jasson Domínguez was called up from Triple-A to take Grisham's spot on the roster. Grisham exited Friday's game at Petco Park after experiencing discomfort in his right hamstring. He was initially injured while attempting to steal second base in the second inning. Later in the game, he was unable to run down a fly ball in shallow center field, which fell for a single. He was replaced in the lineup by Heliot Ramos, with Spencer Jones shifting from right field to center field. The injury is to the same hamstring that previously caused Grisham to miss three weeks on the injured list in June. Grisham is scheduled to undergo imaging to determine the severity of the current strain. "It's disappointing, for sure," Grisham said Friday night. "But that's part of the game. We know what we're signing up for. Hopefully, it's nothing too problematic.
