Wyoming Adopts Chainlink Proof of Reserve for FRNT Stablecoin

Published 3 September 2026

The Wyoming Stable Token Commission has adopted Chainlink Proof of Reserve to provide near-real-time, onchain verification of the reserves backing its Frontier Stable Token, FRNT. The move, announced on September 2, 2026, enhances the transparency framework for the first stable token issued by a U.S. state and builds on the commission's recent migration of FRNT's crosschain infrastructure to Chainlink's Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol, or CCIP. Under the new system, an independent examiner, The Network Firm, will continue to review FRNT's reserve assets and token supply under AICPA standards. Chainlink's oracle network will then publish this verified data onchain, refreshing it in near real time. The commission stated this approach is designed to reduce information gaps that can arise between formal reporting periods, providing regulators, institutions, and market participants with more continuous visibility into FRNT's backing. Wyoming already publishes daily reserve attestations for FRNT, which exceeds the monthly disclosure requirement set by the federal GENIUS Act.
