Warriors Sign Georges Niang to One-Year Contract
The Golden State Warriors have signed veteran forward Georges Niang to a one-year, $3.9 million contract, the team announced Wednesday. The deal, reported by ESPN's Shams Charania, was agreed to on Tuesday and fills the final spot on the Warriors' 15-man roster for the upcoming 2026-27 season. Niang, 33, missed the entire 2025-26 season after fracturing his left foot in September 2025. He last played during the 2024-25 campaign, appearing in 79 games split between the Atlanta Hawks and Cleveland Cavaliers.
