Vance's mother criticizes El-Sayed over personal attacks on family

Beverly Vance Aikins, the mother of Vice President JD Vance, sharply criticized Michigan Democratic Senate candidate Abdul El-Sayed in a recent interview, calling him an "idiot" for his personal attacks on her son's family. The comments, made during an appearance on the "Tomi Lahren Is Fearless" podcast, came in response to remarks El-Sayed made about Second Lady Usha Vance and the couple's children. Aikins expressed particular frustration over El-Sayed's comments regarding her grandchildren, who are biracial. "Those are my babies. I love those babies and would do anything for any of them," she said. "And I love Usha as if she were my own daughter. She's one of the best, most genuine people I've ever met." When asked if the attacks bothered her, Aikins admitted, "I mean, it makes me mad, honestly, because he doesn't know JD and he doesn't know, you know, what type of person he is, and I do." She added that while she would not take action, her protective instinct was strong. "I'd probably punch the guy if I ever seen him, and then that would get me in trouble. So, I'll just go with the flow.
