UAE Crown Prince Meets Putin, Modi at BRICS Summit
UAE Crown Prince Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held separate meetings with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the sidelines of the 18th BRICS Summit in New Delhi on Saturday. The meetings focused on strengthening bilateral ties and discussing regional and international issues. Sheikh Khaled, who led the UAE delegation to the summit, met with President Putin to discuss the strong strategic relations between the UAE and Russia. During the meeting, the Crown Prince conveyed greetings from UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Putin, who reciprocated with his own greetings. The two leaders exchanged views on regional and international issues and underscored the importance of continued coordination on the outcomes of the BRICS Summit. Later, Sheikh Khaled met with Prime Minister Modi at a reception hosted by the Indian leader at Hyderabad House. The meeting reviewed the longstanding friendship and cooperation between the two countries and ways to further strengthen bilateral ties.
