Tyler Herro and Katya Henry Custody Battle

NBA player Tyler Herro and fitness entrepreneur Katya Elise Henry are engaged in a legal dispute over custody and financial support for their two young children following their recent separation. The case is currently before the family court, with both parties having filed competing petitions. According to reports citing court documents, Herro initially approached the court seeking to establish a formal parenting schedule and determine his child support obligations. He stated that he had been voluntarily providing financial assistance to Henry since the birth of their children. However, Herro withdrew his filing just days after submitting it, leaving the matter unresolved. In response, Henry has filed her own petition seeking primary custody of their daughter, born in 2021, and their son, born in 2023. She claims to have served as the primary caregiver for the children and to have made most of the decisions concerning their upbringing. Henry has also requested that temporary and permanent safeguards and parameters be implemented to ensure the safety and well-being of the children, citing Herro's "historical conduct.
