Two Men Fight on Biman Bangladesh Flight to London

A physical altercation between two male passengers on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight from Sylhet, Bangladesh, to London on September 17, 2026, was resolved by cabin crew, causing alarm among fellow travelers. The incident, which occurred mid-flight, began as an argument and escalated into a fight, with video of the confrontation later circulating on social media. According to the airline, the flight departed Sylhet for London on the morning of September 17. At some point during the journey, two passengers became involved in a physical altercation. Mohiuddin Ahmed, general manager of Biman Bangladesh Airlines' public relations department, confirmed the incident, stating that cabin crew intervened and resolved the situation between the two men. Footage from inside the cabin shows one man, wearing a black T-shirt, reaching over a seat and throwing punches at another passenger seated in the row behind. The man in the row behind then stands as the fight continues, and the taller man's shirt is ripped during the confrontation. The cause of the initial argument has not been disclosed. The disturbance alarmed other passengers on the packed aircraft.
