Two men die after falling into tank on Cheshire farm

Two men have died after falling into an industrial tank at a farm in Cheshire, England. Emergency services were called to the scene on Cann Lane in Aston by Budworth, near Northwich, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. The men, aged 42 and 72, were rescued from the tank but were pronounced dead at the scene. Cheshire Police said they were called at approximately 12:20 p.m. to an industrial incident at the farm. Officers from Cheshire Police, firefighters from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service, and paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service responded to the call. Upon arrival, they found that two men had fallen into an industrial tank.
