Trump threatens Bombardier US sales unless it builds there

U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday threatened to ban Canadian aircraft manufacturer Bombardier from selling its products in the United States, demanding the company establish manufacturing operations on American soil. The president issued the ultimatum via a post on the social media platform Truth Social, accusing Canada of unfair trade practices and stating that Bombardier relies heavily on the U.S. market while restricting American businesses. "NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES! Their products arent good enough!" Trump wrote. He asserted that over 50 percent of Bombardier's revenue comes from the United States, benefiting from American buyers, companies, airports, and services. Trump also claimed that Canada has blocked American banks and companies, specifically citing Gulfstream Aerospace, a U.S. jetmaker, from conducting business there. "If they want our Market, they must build here, and stop treating America like a piggybank," he added. This is not the first time Trump has targeted Bombardier.
