The childhood home of President Donald Trump in the Queens borough of New York City has sold for $1.93 million following a major renovation that transformed the property from a neglected state into a modern residence. The identity of the buyer has not been publicly disclosed. The Tudor-style home in the Jamaica Estates neighborhood was built in 1940 by Trump's father, real estate developer Fred Trump. The president lived in the five-bedroom, three-bathroom house until he was about 4 years old, before his family moved to a larger home nearby. The Trump family has not owned the property for many years. The seller, developer Tommy Lin, purchased the home in 2025 for $835,000 after it had sat vacant and deteriorating for an extended period. The renovation addressed significant damage, including water damage and mold from a burst pipe, and a colony of feral cats that had taken up residence.
