Central to the event was a 21-foot steel beam, weighing nearly 17,000 pounds, recovered from the South Tower of the World Trade Center. This artifact is part of the Tunnel to Towers Foundation's "Steel Across America" tour, which has traveled across the country. Approximately 150 first responders from New York, Washington D.C., and Pennsylvania were in attendance, alongside officials and armed service members. President Trump spoke about the nation's courage and resilience, stating that the steel beam served as a testament to how far the country has come. "When we see this steel, were reminded that no matter what threat or challenge comes our way, nothing can keep our country down our country is the strongest its ever been before," Trump said.
