Trump Awards Artemis II Crew Congressional Space Medal of Honor

President Donald Trump awarded the Congressional Space Medal of Honor on Friday to the four astronauts of NASA's Artemis II mission during a ceremony at the agency's Johnson Space Center in Houston. The medal was presented to NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, and Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency astronaut Jeremy Hansen, in recognition of their historic lunar flyby mission earlier this year. The ceremony marked the first time the prestigious award has been given since 2023. The Artemis II crew launched on April 1 and completed a 10-day mission, splashing down in the Pacific Ocean on April 10.
