Tommy Freeman signs contract extension with Northampton Saints

England and British and Irish Lions back Tommy Freeman has signed a contract extension with Northampton Saints, committing his long-term future to the Gallagher Premiership champions. The 25-year-old, who still had one season remaining on his previous deal, has made 118 appearances and scored 79 tries for the club since emerging from its academy system. Freeman cited the club's culture and people as central to his decision. "A big part of my decision was the people here," he said. "The squad is so close, and that extends beyond the players to partners, families and everyone around the Club. That tight-knit feel creates a special culture that helps drive what we do on the pitch." He highlighted the team's recent achievements and future potential. "We've won two PREM titles, reached a European final, and we don't think we're finished yet," Freeman stated. "There are some exciting players coming into the group, and this is a squad that will only continue to grow with more experience and time together."
