Tom Selleck to Guest Star in Apple TV+ Comedy Series

Tom Selleck is returning to television for the first time since the conclusion of his long-running police drama, joining the cast of an upcoming comedy series for Apple TV+. The Emmy-winning actor, 81, has been confirmed as a guest star on an as-yet-untitled half-hour comedy created by Liz Heldens and Matt Ward. The project marks Selleck's first major acting role since his 14-season run as NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan on CBS's Blue Bloods ended in December 2024. The series stars Elizabeth Banks as Heidi, a newly divorced woman attempting to build a new life for herself and her children.
