Tinubu confirms rescue of 21 abducted in Kogi
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu confirmed the rescue of 21 people abducted in Kogi State, including 15 members of the National Youth Service Corps, following a coordinated security operation on Monday afternoon. The rescued individuals, comprising eight males and 13 females, were freed from kidnappers' hideouts in the forests of Ofu Local Government Area. They are now receiving medical attention before being reunited with their families. The rescue was carried out by a combined team of personnel from the military, the Nigeria Police Force, the Department of State Services, and local vigilantes.
