Three Teens Killed in Brooklyn Belt Parkway Crash

Three teenagers were killed and two others were injured in a high-speed collision on Brooklyn's Belt Parkway Tuesday night, according to the NYPD. The crash occurred at approximately 11:35 p.m. on August 25, 2026, near Exit 1 for 65th Street in Bay Ridge, when a black 2002 Cadillac Escalade carrying five teenage boys collided with a black 2024 Honda HRV traveling in the same eastbound direction. Emergency responders rushed the three most critically injured occupants of the Escalade, ages 16, 17, and 18, to NYU Langone-Brooklyn Hospital. Despite life-saving efforts, all three were later pronounced dead. Police have withheld their identities pending family notification.
