Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP), has sparked a political controversy by posting a satirical resignation letter on social media, posing as Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav. The letter, shared on X on September 13, 2026, criticizes the state government's handling of a public health crisis in Balaghat district, where over 30 tribal children have reportedly died since July 2026. In the mock letter addressed to the Governor of Madhya Pradesh, Dipke wrote, "I hereby resign as the Chief Minister of MP with immediate effect. I thank Hon'ble PM narendramodi ji for giving me the opportunity to serve the people of MP, an opportunity in which I have clearly failed." He stated that his conscience would not allow him to continue in office after the deaths of more than 30 tribal children, accepting responsibility for failing to provide timely medical care. The satirical post followed Dipke's visit to Balaghat on September 12, where he traveled to villages including Adori, Korka, and Bondari to meet families of the deceased children.
