The stablecoin issuer Tether has invested $20 million in the Argentine digital bank Ualá, acquiring a minority stake in a major Latin American financial platform. The investment, finalized as part of a $197 million funding round for Ualá that was announced in March 2026, values the neobank at $3.2 billion.
