Telangana Approves Ticket Price Hikes For The Paradise

The Telangana government has approved temporary ticket price increases for The Paradise, the Nani-starrer period action drama directed by Srikanth Odela that is scheduled for theatrical release on September 24, 2026. Under an order issued by the state Home department, single-screen theatres may charge an additional Rs 48 per ticket, inclusive of GST, from September 24 to September 27, while multiplexes and special theatres may charge an additional Rs 95 over the same period. The revised rates can be applied to up to five shows per day. That puts tickets at Rs 225 in single screens and Rs 390 in multiplexes during the first four days of the run. From September 28 to October 3, the permitted increase drops to Rs 23 for single screens and Rs 45 for multiplexes and special theatres, bringing ticket prices to Rs 200 and Rs 340 respectively. Special premiere screenings are scheduled for September 23, a day before the wide release. A special Telangana show is set for 6:30 pm with tickets priced at Rs 500, and 9 pm premiere shows are planned across southern states, including Chennai and Bengaluru. Advance bookings have opened at select locations.
